Kids get Wild in Sedona!
If you’re seeking a family vacation with youngsters, then Sedona should be top on your list. Sedona has an abundance of kid friendly activities to fit all vacation budgets.
Out of Africa Wildlife Park isn’t your typical zoo. At the park, hundreds of exotic animals from all over the world roam in a spacious natural habitat. The African Bush Safari is an entertaining ride in a safari type vehicle which allows you and your little ones to experience a personal encounter with a giraffe, zebra, ostrich and more. I can personally tell you that those giraffes love to give kisses! A variety of shows take place throughout the day with the Tiger Splash being an all-around favorite. Those big kitty cats love the water and you get to watch as they romp and play in the pool with their caretakers. If you have always dreamed of holding a python in your lap, then I suggest you take part in the Giant Snake Show. By timing your visit with the Predator Feed, you will have the opportunity to follow the caretakers as they throw 800 pounds of raw food to the animals, with only a fence between you and the hungry carnivores!
To make it easy for you to enjoy this wonderful park, we have collaborated with Out of Africa and created our Wild Thing Package. By taking advantage of this special package, you can stay one night in one of our comfy suites, enjoy our hot deluxe continental breakfast the following morning, and receive two general admission adult tickets and one child ticket to the park. The summer season rate for the package starts at $199.00 which is an incredible deal. We will happily add on additional days for you at a special rate. Check with our concierge desk for full details.
Coming mid-June, a new high flying adventure, The Predator Zip is coming to the park! This optional adventure will have you zipping right through the heart of predator territory. I can guarantee you I will be checking this adventure out in person and will be happy to share my experience with you.
You can also fill your vacation days hiking any of the hundred plus trails in the red rocks, enjoying a picnic and swimming in Oak Creek, catching a fish at the Rainbow Trout Farm, or exploring the many ancient Native American dwellings in the area. At night, drive a mile or so out of town and treat yourselves to one of the most incredible night skies in the country. When I experienced my first Sedona night sky, I had to blink a couple of times to make sure what I was seeing was real; yes, it was that amazing. And of course, you probably won’t want to leave Sedona without partaking in one of the famous jeep tours. We will help you choose the best one for your family and even share a discount with you.
Our fantastic summer specials give you the opportunity to stay longer and pay less! Save 20% off our regular rates when you stay two nights, and save 30% when you stay three nights or more!
