Summer adventure to the Grand Canyon!
The Grand Canyon is considered to be one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Well deserving of this title, the Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and over a mile deep. The Canyon is a result of billions of years of geologic progressions, although the specific process that formed the Grand Canyon is still a debate among geologists. It is known for its visually overwhelming size and colorful landscape. The layers of colored rock are significant as they define much of the early geologic history of our North American continent. The mighty Colorado River raging through the walls continues to erode and form the majestic Grand Canyon as we see it today.
The Grand Canyon is a popular day trip for visitors staying in Sedona. With the South and East Rims located only two hours north of Sedona, you can set out on your own self navigated adventure or enjoy one of the many stress-free and convenient touring options. Options include a variety of land tours with deluxe transportation, air excursions, and the historical Grand Canyon railway.
If you would like to experience the Canyon in a stress-free grand style, then we’ve made it easy for you to do so. Our Grand Canyon Package includes a two night stay in your choice of a Real Double Queen Suite or deluxe Royal King Corner Suite, hot breakfast, and a full day Grand Canyon tour with Pink Jeep Tours for two people. As you make your way toward the East exit, your guide will take you to lookout points that offer the best views of the mighty Colorado River, and looking into the eastern horizon you will see the Painted Desert as it blends in into our blue Arizona sky.
