The Verde Canyon Railroad: Arizona’s Longest Running Nature Show
The Verde Canyon Railroad offers a very unique way to take in the Arizona countryside. Passengers are delighted to watch as the vintage train passes towering, crimson cliffs, near ancient Indian ruins, over old-fashioned trestles and through a 680-foot manmade tunnel. The excursion is four hours roundtrip, which includes a stop at the deserted Perkinsville, an excellent narration, and description of the sights.
