Sunscreen Weather
This weekend two of my friends ended up getting sunburnt as they played out in the Sedona sun. This perfect hiking weather can be deceiving. Not too hot, 75…80 degrees maybe, so you forget to put on your sunscreen. Next week I will be hiking West Fork, one of the top ten hikes in the country. It is a beautiful trail that cris-crosses the creek in Oak Creek Canyon. I love it because if it does get a little warm you can dip your feet in the cool water of the creek. It is also a shaded hike, unlike a lot of the trails here in Sedona. I will post pictures of my adventure on the trail for you next week and I will definitely remember to wear my sunscreen.
