Photofest July 18th - July 25th
One of the best kept secrets of Sedona is how beautiful the sunsets are in the summer months. The clouds of monsoon season bring drama and rich contrast to the red rock skyline that captivates the camera lens. Photography students, enthusiasts, educators and seasoned professionals are invited to attend the festival to be held July 18th through the 25th. One of the highlights will be a 3-day symposium featuring keynote talks, workshop presentations and panel discussions.

Festival of Lights Early December
The beautiful Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village is set aglow with the lighting of 6000 luminarias by hundreds of participants. Filling all the courtyards, walkways and parapets with golden light, this is truly one of the most memorable among all Sedona events. Fantastic choral ensembles, carolers, musicians, and dancers bring to life the wonders of the holiday season.
The Sedona Marathon February
The Sedona Marathon has enlivened and thrilled the city bringing in hundreds of runners and enthusiasts from all over the country. A full marathon, half marathon, and a 5k opens participation up for everyone. Running in Red Rock country has got to be life-altering and for this high-energy, world-class marathon, Sedona is the perfect venue.
Sedona International Film Festival February/March
For five days generally the first weekend in March, Sedona is transformed into a haven for independent and documentary film buffs. It gets bigger and better every year with over 125 films, including foreign films, shorts, animation and student films. Celebrities come to present their films and conduct workshops on filmmaking. No doubt Sedona in the very near future will become one of the film festivals that launches great films and new careers.
Sedona Taste June
Many of the finest restaurants in Sedona participate in this ever-popular fundraising event where fantastic food tastings, wine samplings, entertainment lure townspeople and visitors from all over. Situated along Oak Creek under the giant sycamore trees at Los Abrigados resort, it’s a must do event. A silent benefit auction featuring fine bottles of wine, dining experiences, art, jewelry, travel packages and more help fund the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Arizona.
