Breaking Dawn

Today we woke to beautiful cloud cover. I just love Sedona after a night time rain shower. The shadows of the clouds on the red rocks and the contrasting patches of blue are amazing. As an added bonus, there were snow dappled hilltops. I really wish I would have had my camera so I could post a picture for you. I will have to remember to keep one with me at all times.

Wild, Wild, West, Alive in Sedona!

Last night we were enjoying the cool evening air (a lovely sixty degrees) in Sedona when a pair of Javalinas decided to pay us a visit. These hairy pig-like creatures, although most times timid to people, came right up to the patio table and were sniffing us. They didn’t make much noise, but I have feeling they were interested in the girl scout cookies we were nibbling on. They started and ran away when I got up to get the camera.
