Gumptionfest is this Weekend!
“GumptionFest is Sedona’s grassroots, community-organized festival that was started as a way for local artists, performers and businesses to get up the gumption to get together and celebrate as well as share their art, creativity and passion.
It is most importantly an effort to help artists come together and support each other by way of inspiration, ideas, tools and much more. It helps create what we like to call an “artistic support system.” We therefore want to raise the bar for Sedona’s intake and output of creative expression and diverse understanding.”

Snakes of Sedona
Local snake specialist Russell Dunn will give a free interactive show and lecture entitled “Snakes of Sedona” at Greg Lawson’s Passion for Place Gallery on Wednesday, August 15 at 6:00 pm. Visitors will be educated on the habits and behaviors of snakes native to Sedona, plus receive tips on identification and have the opportunity to see and touch some of the creatures showcased. This free public event will be held at Hillside Sedona on the second level at Greg Lawson’s Passion For Place Gallery, ^pm, August 15th, 671 State Route 179, Sedona, AZ 86336. Sedona National Day of the Cowboy Celebration!
Come to Sedona July 24th and join in the fun and festivities at theNational Day of the Cowboy Celebration. This all day free event will please adults and kids of all ages.
Enjoy an American Cowboy Parade that takes place in Uptown Sedona. See live performances by world champion gunslingers, trick ropers, bullwhip crackers and western actors.

4th of July, Laser Light Show!
It is fire season in Arizona, so fourth of July fireworks are not going to happen in Sedona, but we will have our first ever laser light Show! Day Star Lasers International will dazzle audiences at this outdoor, thirty minute laser spectacular. Multi-colored lasers choreographed to songs from local musicians (provided by the Sedona Performers Guild) will create a wonderful show for people of all ages. Currently this show is set to begin at dark (around 9 p.m.) but you will want to arrive early for parking. Arrive at 6:30 p.m. for a live concert and delicious barbeque from Red Rock BBQ. Enjoy this picnic at the park and live music from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and then enjoy the light show!

Sedona Dine & Wine Fest- A Restaurant Experience
The Sedona Chamber of Commerce and The Sedona Area Restaurant Association (SARA) is pleased to announce the return of Sedona Dine & Wine Fest – beginning Monday, June 25 and ending Tuesday, July 31, 2012. The event was created to introduce visitors and locals alike to a variety of dining establishments while having two month period of time to experience each unique participating restaurant in the Sedona area.
This event gives local foodies and visitors the chance to experience a selection of specially priced meals from a wide variety of Sedona area restaurants. Guests will enjoy three-course, prix-fix dinner menus with the opportunity to select items for each course including an appetizer, entree and dessert.
Restaurants have chosen their dining level and each one varies – giving a wide variety of price selections. Levels are as follows:
Classic Dining $17.00
Elegant Dining $25.00
Fine Dining $35.00

The kick-off for Sedona Dine & Wine Fest starts Monday, June 25, the day after the 17th Annual Sedona Taste.
Sedona Taste is an annual event, presented by the Boys and Girls Club of Sedona, on Sunday, June 24 located at Los Abrigados Resort & Spa.
