Pink Jeep Takes us to Diamond Back Gulch

Last night I went on tour with Pink Jeep that was a lot of fun, called Diamond Back Gulch. I’ve gone a lot of pink jeep tours, most often the Broken Arrow, because it is advertised as their best, but this sure was a fun alternative. This one is pretty rough and takes you back into the wilderness. I really felt like I was I the middle of nowhere.

One of the best parts about this trip was the rain. I’ve never been on a tour in the rain, but it made for a lot of fun. First of all it smelled wonderful. There is something about the rain in the desert. It’s a sweet smell. The wet ground made for a bit of slip and slide in the jeep, which was awesome if you like a little adventure. The clouds looked really beautiful. All fluffy and big. The cool thing was it was sunny and raining! You know what that means…rainbows! We were lucky enough to see them.

This tour wasn’t right on the red rocks like on Broken Arrow, but it was still quite beautiful with Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock in the distance.
