Rocking and Rolling with Pink Jeep!

Broken Arrow is Pink Jeep’s most famous outdoor adventures and we had a chance to check it out again last night. This was my fourth time doing Broken Arrow and honestly, it never gets old. Our tour guide this time had so much new information about the plants and animals in the area. I really enjoy all of those little factoids. Great weather too. A little cloud cover kept the tour nice and cool. Had a blast taking in the panoramic views of Sedona!

If you’d like to have your own Pink Jeep adventure we have a “Rock and Roll Jeep Package” at the hotel that features the pink jeep broken arrow tour, or you can book your tour with our concierge team. Just call 1-800-353-1239 and they’ll even get you a little bit of a discount. If you’re planning on visiting in September or October call us soon because that’s a busy time of year and the tours fill up quickly!

Great Review of our Hotel!

We had a great review of the hotel recently. We just love it when a guest enjoys their stay with us.

Ken’s Creekside

Sedona Hotels Kens Creekside

Last weekend we went to a great restaurant. Ken’s Creekside has been in Sedona for many years, but recently updated their menu. New chef, Mercer Mohr, and new menu, equals an awesome dining experience.

We sat outside on the patio and the night was just perfect. There patio is over oak creek so it feels like you are sitting in the trees. The weather this time of year is perfect for sitting outside at night.

We started the meal with 3 different appetizers. They were all great. I tried my first ever escargot! Guess what? I loved it. They prepared them with roasted tomatoes, spinach and garlic herb butter. I loved the Crab Cake with Chipotle Aioli. The OMG Steamed Clams with a Cioppino style broth were great too.

For the main course I had the Short Ribs; boneless braised beef short rib, whipped sweet potato, and roasted root vegetables. I really liked the sweet potato as an alternative to your traditional potato. The sweetness played well with the beef. My dining companions had the Duck Confit and the Pasta Puttanesca. I didn’t get to try the duck because my friend liked it so much he practically inhaled it. It looked good though. The pasta was great…artichokes, olives, tomatoes, capers, spinach, fresh basil, roasted red peppers and shrimp!

For dessert we had the churro stuffed with banana cheesecake. It was served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Decadent and delicious.

Aside from the food, there was a great band playing, and we had some great wine and drinks.
