Bike MS – National MS Society Bike Ride

This sounds like a fun way to support our friends and family that have MS. You couldn’t pick a more beautiful time of year to ride. The Bike MS event take place April 14th-15th 2012.

Bike MS is the premier bike ride in Arizona and is part of the country’s largest national cycling series supported by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Hosted in the Verde Valley in central Arizona approximately two hours north of Phoenix, Bike MS is the largest two-day, fully catered cycling event in the state and is an annual fundraising event to support the Arizona Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This event offers several route options that give you the chance to challenge yourself while riding through the beautiful Red Rock Mountains or enjoy a fun ride with your family and friends through the Verde Valley. Cyclists collect pledges from thousands of volunteers both in Arizona and nationwide, who consistently raise nearly $500,000 annually. While you’re out riding with us, SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles continually travel the route between rest stops, medical support is provided, as well as expert bike maintenance and repair from supporting bicycle shops.

New Pet Park! Looking great!

The progress on the new dog part for our pet guests is coming along great! The dog park is located on a ½ acre plot we have behind our hotel, and there will be easy access for our guests. We have spent the past couple of weeks clearing the brush and I went back to take a look earlier today and was surprised to see all of the great progress. Several pic-nic tables have been installed and some park benches.  Right now they are putting the gravel for the walking paths through what is going to be a nice shaded walking area with all of the trees back there. When they are done there will be a few BBQs too, which should be fun whether you have a pet or not!

We love have pets stay with us and have 10 pet friendly rooms on property. There is a $30 pet fee per pet,  per visit. We also give out little goody bags for our furry guests…a collapsible pet bowl, a leash and some treats!

Newly Remodeled Suites!

We have taken everything a notch up here at the hotel with our property wide re-model. Many of our suites have been redone top to bottom with carpet, furnishings, larger flat screen TVs, granite counter-tops…the works! Our suites have never looked so great! We also have revamped our breakfast area to give you a comfortable, more spacious dining experience. New photography will be up on the website soon and I will be sure to post here as well!
